A  Unique  Twist  In  Wire  Art

WIRE TREE CLASSES

Class 101,
In this class, I will take the time to teach you about the different gauges of wire.
You will learn how to twist the wire so that it will have an even flow. This is very important in the beginning. You will become confident knowing that if you cut the wire it will stay twisted and not fall apart.
You will start out small, and move to a larger gauge wire, moving into the creation of a common tree that you will be proud of when it is complete.
I do not use any kind of electric tools in this learning process.
First, you must realize that your fingers will hurt after twisting wire for a period of time. You will build calluses, you will get poked ,and may even shed some blood. some people like to have gloves, it is always better to be prepared to know all of this as we start. By the end of the class you will have an idea of what you are doing an will have the opportunity to finish your tree on your own time. This class instruction includes the green floral wire, a base for your completed tree to sit on. This is about a 3 hour class. I do have some tools but it is always best to have brought your own. Needed, small to medium size wire cutters, and needle nose pliers with a flat head.

You will start, with a larger gauge wire for the root system and trunk, then learning to add wire to create some fullness in the creation of a common trees. You will be proud of learning this concept because it will give to the fullness found in the body of the tree when it is complete. In this class you will be able to choose the wire you would like to use. You will use approximately 40 to 50 strands of wire for the root and trunk system, adding more wire for the branches.
